Pretty spesh. I just love the colours and fabric combinations. theres nothing else really to say. I suppose this shoot is very me and thats why i like it. hahaha im that transparent. This is the first photo shoot that i have blogged about. Bit of a turning point. hahahahaha LAME.

Lucious calico

hey guys!
sorry about my laziness, its becoming an issue. I finally got myself in the zone and did a outfits post about my recent acquisition, because apparently i don't know how to stop spending. The other day i made a joke about seeing a psychologist about my pathological need to buy more pretty little things, and my mum, in all seriousness agreed. Its not a problem... yet, *says while trying to shut the wardrobe doors* In this particular outfits post i happen to be wearing all my toils from first year fashion. probably wouldnt wear them out of the house, or in the house for that matter, but i did today! So most of the things are samples we did to learn how to sew that i pinned to myself. FYI, needles are sharp and pointy... yeah, painful at times.
Anyway i suppose you guys want to hear about my acquisition? No? well im gonna talk about it anyway, hahaha. The other week i got a amazing pair of Comme Des Garcons shoes. If a ballet point slipper had sex with a brogue, this would be their love child. They are made from a rough calico with a fine leather lining. Trez Chic. hahaha. When i first put them on, my hear skipped a beat, fitted me perfectly-ish. bit tight along the sides because i have duck feet, so it could have been the reason for my circulation issues. Rei certainly knows how to do it. Amazingly simple yet beautiful and interesting shoes!
PS. im actually quite nervouse about this post because im venturing into face whoring... *breaths into paper bag* i just thought that as i will be featured in some episodes of the Vine.com.au DIY fashion, i should get used to my face in the public domain. :SSSSS STRESSSSSSSS
anyway, got a few more post lined up. :DD

Arabian nights out

Hey guys! The other day i raided the Cose Ipanema archives and founds some incredible things. Things that havn't seen the light of day since the 80's!!!!! I found these two amazing shirts, one being a vintage Yhoji Yamamoto viscose/rayon drapey oversized shirt with small embroidered knore marks on the front, kinda looks a bit like Swiss cheese (which im really excited about) and a vintage Issey Miyake cotton also oversized droopy shawl collar (fashion speak for ya there) shirth that kinda looks like either a traditional eastern European costume or a glorified dentist uniform. Im so pumped!!!! Both shirts are supper comfortable and perfect for summer. I really want to make myself a selection of exactly the same shirts in a variety of colours, maybe even ombre if im daring enough! lol Comfort was a big thing in the 80's and these shirts certainly have that element, which in a way is a luxury in a victim of fashion like myself. I often say to people that i don't care about comfort as long as the clothing looks good. Tragic...yes. *sighs while pealing off a pair of extremely uncomfortable boots.* hahaha and im not even kidding.
Recently my friend and i have kinda take on the persona's of Eddie and Patsy from Ab Fab. Me being the tragic brand whore and my friend Sam the promiscuous alcoholic. Heres a quote from the other night:

'Pats, Pats darling in the bin in the bin quick common its just there in the bin vomit in the bin, mind the Atoo,' (my new sneaker sandals, sounds gross but i assure you they are pretty cool)

'Eddie darling no no no not spilling a drop of bloody alcohol i can keep it in my mouth. n...eed to sit down, sit down just here cmon sitting down.'

I kid you not this happened. BTW, should not have worn the sandals out that night. Fucked my feet up hard core. I looked like a homeless transient cross hobbit. Not a hot look. I had to soak and pumice my feet for 3 hours. Anyway... iv totes gone off on a tangent as per usual. But here are the shirts, in a bit of a photo montage. I went for a Laurence of Arabia look, kinda, however my backyard hasn't quite got the same visual aesthetic as the deserts in Syria, but anyway, here are the pics:
ciao!

Heard it on the great Vine

Hey every one!
im sorry my posts are becoming few and far between. Its so stupid, im just getting lazy. But on a lighter note I've been sitting on this little piece of information for a few weeks now. lol i really wanted to tell you guys ages ago, but now that its official i can announce it with pride!!! hahahah I am the new Fashion DIY presenter thing for the AGE's Vine website!!! PRETTY EXCITED! Today was the filming for the first do it yourself project and i still cant give much away, but it was pretty exciting! We shot in this really cool Kitsch kitchen, complete with faux marble laminate bench tops and pastel furniture. It was so fun, but im so bad at remembering lines, not that we had a script, but there was a certain amount of things i was meant to say and i kept stuffing up. hahaha And im so glad that a brought a 'here's one i prepared earlyer' because the DIY garment turned out slightly different to the way i had intended and having a backup was a good idea. i will post the video up when its finally edited. Im secretly petrified of the results because i don't know how much the camera hates me just yet or which angles aren't flattering to me on film. hahahah Speaking of which my face will be on the videos and my anonymity will go down the drain. Gonna finally whore my face out! :SSS now i pose the question do i have a face for tv? Some say yes but recent facebook photos say no. We'll see soon enough. Now i need to start planning the next one, which will be filmed in 2 weeks! its supper exciting!!! here are some pics of the set and the supper cool people i worked with today:

Lets hope all the crap stays in 2009...

Hey guys!
I know we are well into 2010 and the noted custom is to congratulate generally prior to the occasion, but happy new year!!! Id like to take this opportunity to thank all of my 3 and a half readers for sticking by me and supporting me with your lovely comments. I truly hope 2010 will be a fantastic year for everyone and everything bad will remain in the previous year. Judging by this post you'd think that i won an Oscar or some kind of award, (que tears and religious banter) lol, but alas no, im still the same scared weird little fashion student that nervously started posting under the guiding hand of FOXYMAN not to long ago. LOL now this sounds like a eulogy. Im gifted like that. lol  anyway...
I had a questionable new years eve celebration. I wont get into it because this neither the time nor place. But lets just hope that everything will be ok and the new year will be a positive one!
Clearly this is a rushed post, and for that I'm sorry. Now that I'm a 'shop girl' i don't have a spare 3-4 hours to do a proper post every time, so here is abba, lol. hope ya'll enjoy it!
ps, some good things to come ;)

lol sorry, hahahaha
